HME United – Match Report

On Friday 22 September we took part in a 5-a-side football tournament at the Beacon of Light, Sunderland.

The tournament was organised by Malone & McNally & Thompson. It was a great afternoon played in a great spirit. HME finished as runners up to a very good Brims Construction team.

The real excitement of the day was the semi-final between Malone and HME. Malone outplayed HME in the first half and led 4-1 at half time. HME refused to accept defeat, and fought back to win the game 5-4 and seal our place in the final!
